Lithium-ion Batteries PK Extreme Cold Environments

On the 15th of this month, Zhou Shangyong, General Manager of the company, led a team personally, carrying the newly developed start-stop lithium-ion battery for heavy trucks, to embark on an extreme cold testing journey in Mohe, Heilongjiang, the farthest northern locale of China.

The testing process was divided into three stages: a 12-hour static test in low-temperature conditions, a 36-hour test, and a start-up test conducted after 60 hours. In each stage, the project team conducted five consecutive starts using the power supply. The heavy truck lithium-ion starter power supply exhibited stable performance in the low-temperature environment, demonstrating excellent overall performance. All five start tests in each stage were successful, successfully completing the challenge!

The testing took place on the 17th of January (the seventh day of the third nine days) at the new energy testing base in Mohe. The product was exposed to outdoor freezing conditions for 12 hours, 36 hours, and 60 hours. Despite the extreme cold, the heavy truck start-stop lithium-ion battery was able to start easily, exhibiting remarkable toughness and stability in the harsh environment, demonstrating its superior performance!

This was not only an extreme challenge to the product’s performance but also a testament to its quality and reliability. It not only verified the reliability of the product in extreme environments but also provided stronger assurances to our users.
